Our favorite nearby walk. Follow the coast past beaches, dunes, and rocky shoreline. Wear comfortable shoes and give yourself time to stop for the views.

Haleakalā National Park
For a bigger day out, explore the summit area and its trails. Sunrise visits require an advance reservation, and the summit can be much colder than Napili.

Leave room in your plans for an unplanned beach day. Check ocean conditions before swimming or snorkeling, go with a buddy, and give marine life plenty of space. Restaurant hours, tours, and trail access can change, so check current details as you plan.
